1st International Conference on PV modules recycling

Within the framework of the IEA PVPS Task 12 and with the support of the EC DG JRC, EPIA and PV CYCLE co-organize the First International Conference on PV Module Recycling.
The event aims at presenting the state-of-the-art of the PV module recycling and providing a platform to discuss possible synergies between the PV industry and the most experience players in recycling from other related sectors.
The conference will be split into three main sessions. The first session will be an overview of the state-of-the-art of the recycling techniques for the different PV technologies. In session two, other related sectors such as recyclers of flat glass, television screens or electric and electronic equipment will share their experiences and present possible synergies to be applied to PV module recycling. Finally, the sustainability issues of recycling, and the activities in other continents will be presented.
A high level panel discussion will take place involving the experts on PV module recycling as well as the experienced representatives of the related sectors.
This conference will gather, for the first time, the experts on PV module manufacturing and recycling, recyclers of other fields, research institutes as well as representatives of other steps in the value chain of a PV installation.
Over 100 participants are expected to attend this event. Note that the number of places is limited.
